The word pastoral has many meanings. Pastoral can relate to the countryside. It can mean pleasingly peaceful and innocent. It can relate to spiritual care or guidance. It can be about shepherds or herdsman. I like to think that all of these definitions can apply to my latest composition, “Pastoral.”
