I used to be a very impatient person in my youth. I was always in a hurry and I was not a good listener. One of the many benefits of living into my 70’s is learning the art of patience. That’s what inspired this song. Patience is about taking it slow, taking a breath and letting life unfold naturally. Being patient with other people has also allowed me to be a better listener.
