“Lament” is a mournful piece that expresses grief and deep loss. As I get older, more of my friends and family are leaving the planet. When someone dies, reality shifts. It’s such an odd feeling when I lose someone close. Memories are all I will have from that moment on. There is no more earthly connection with that person. Lesson: Appreciate each moment with people close to me with love and gratitude.
