"Country is not my usual composing or playing style. However, on the morning that I composed "Easy Country Living," I got into a country groove. I was in a really good mood and I started playing some Floyd Cramer licks over a left hand ostinato bass line. It came together very easily and in a very short period of time. I have always admired the Nashville sound that Floyd Cramer helped to create with his "slip note" piano style."
