"Blues Heart" was recorded on February 5, 2025. It will be released on Friday, May 16, 2025.

“Blues Heart” was inspired by a sad memory that I had. The music, especially playing the flatted fifth, or blues note) in the melody and really laying on it, reflected both the blues and the sadness. It’s actually kind of shocking to really lay on the sharp 4th or flatted 5th. Usually it’s in passing as in a lot of the rest of the melody and some of the improv in the piece.
